FID Media is now presented through a new web portal, complete with a new logo and visual identity. With this relaunch, the services offered by the specialised information service in the areas of Search, Publish, Community, and About are more clearly structured and more closely integrated. The aim is to further improve access to our services and information for researchers, students, and all those interested in communication and media studies.

In addition to the main website, the catalogue at search.fid-media.de and the repository at publish.fid-media.de now also feature the new design. A new section, “News from the FID Media Community”, has also been added, providing information on events and calls from the disciplines.
The release of our new portal also marks the launch of our current user survey. The survey is also aimed at researchers in communication and media studies who have not previously used FID Media and takes only around 8 to 10 minutes to complete. We would be very grateful for your participation, as your feedback helps us to further develop the services offered by FID Media and continuously adapt them to the needs of the scholarly community.
